Hajj 2027 Registration for UAE Citizens Opens on September 14th
Applications will be accepted for 12 days through the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat's website and smart app.
UAE citizens will be able to register for Hajj 2027 between September 14th and September 25th, with applications accepted through the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat's website and smart app.
According to the authority, applications will be assessed through an automated screening process based on approved criteria. The list of successful applicants is scheduled to be published on October 9th, after which selected pilgrims will be contacted to complete the remaining procedures.
The registration timetable has been set to allow for early preparations ahead of the Hajj season and to support the delivery of services for Emirati pilgrims both in the UAE and at the holy sites in Makkah.
The announcement follows a meeting in July, when President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reviewed plans to further improve the Hajj experience for Emirati pilgrims. Discussions focused on enhancing services, strengthening support and ensuring a smoother journey from departure through to pilgrims' safe return.
The authority said 6,228 Emirati citizens performed Hajj in 2026, while more than 1.7 million pilgrims from 165 countries took part in the pilgrimage overall. According to Saudi authorities, the deadline for Umrah pilgrims to leave the Kingdom ahead of the Hajj 2027 season is April 7th, 2027, while Arafah Day is expected to fall on May 15th, 2027, based on astronomical calculations.
