Interactive Map of Development Projects to Launch Online

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development will launch an interactive map of national and development projects on its official website, allowing users to explore planned initiatives across Egypt’s governorates.

Users will be able to select areas within individual governorates and view projects across sectors including education, healthcare, housing, electricity, drinking water and sanitation. The map will show where projects are being implemented, which communities are expected to benefit and how cities and new residential areas are expanding.

Education data will include new schools, universities and other facilities, while healthcare sections will track projects intended to improve access to medical services. Electricity, water and sanitation projects will also be displayed alongside sector-specific development indicators.

The platform will open with a dashboard where users can select a development sector before choosing a governorate from a menu or directly through the map. Filters will allow results to be narrowed by project type, while governorate overviews will display the geographical distribution of projects across different sectors.
