Nile Projects Opens New BYD Experience Centre in Cairo

Buying a new car isn’t really about window shopping in showrooms anymore; it’s a lot more serious than that. You want to get to know the machine, take it for a spin around town, befriend its quirks, and see if you click enough to put a keyring on it.

Nile Projects is taking that process of courting your future car onto the streets of Cairo, cutting the red ribbon on a new BYD Experience Centre at Mall of Arabia and Citystars Mall, where prospective owners can speed date the latest line-up of New Energy Vehicles before deciding which one they want to drive off into the sunset with.

And for those still swiping through their options, this is only the first pitstop. Nile Projects plans on taking its automotive and retail know-how into Egypt’s New Energy Vehicle scene by building a wider network of places to get up close and personal with the next generation of cars, with the hope that some of those first dates might eventually lead to something more permanent.

The point isn’t simply to add more addresses to the map, but to make meeting your next ride as easy, exciting and elevated as the vehicles themselves, bringing the courtship to where weekend plans, shopping trips and new-car crushes already happen.

Clearly, Nile Projects is betting that a few of those test drives will eventually spark something more.
