2km Sprint

A shorter open-water race for swimmers looking for a faster, more accessible distance.

2km Oceanfins

A second 2km format within the OCEANMAN programme.

3 × 500m Team Relay

Three swimmers combine for a 1.5km relay, with each completing one 500m leg.

5km Half Oceanman

A mid-distance race for swimmers ready to take on a longer open-water challenge.

10km Oceanman

The weekend’s longest and most demanding individual race.

The Schedule

September 18th

The opening day focuses on the shorter-distance races, including Oceankids, the 2km formats and the 3 × 500m team relay.

September 19th

The second day is reserved for the 5km Half Oceanman and 10km Oceanman, followed by the awards ceremony.

The World Championship Route

OCEANMAN El Gouna also serves as a qualification pathway to the series’ World Championship races, giving competitive swimmers the opportunity to progress beyond the Egyptian leg.
