Parkin Expands to Sharjah With Aljada Parking Agreement
The operator will manage up to 9,900 parking spaces in Aljada under a long-term deal.
Parkin, a Dubai-based parking management company, has signed a long-term agreement with Arada Developments, a developer behind large-scale residential projects, to manage parking across the Aljada community in Sharjah. The agreement marks Parkin’s first expansion outside Dubai, with the company set to act as the sole operator for on-street, off-street, and building parking across residential, retail, and commercial areas.
The rollout will include up to 9,900 parking spaces delivered in phases between 2026 and 2030. Around 3,500 spaces will fall under on-street and off-street parking, with approximately 1,400 expected to be operational by the start of the third quarter of 2026. Building parking will account for about 6,400 spaces, with around 400 scheduled for completion by the end of the second quarter of 2026.
All parking locations will be integrated into Parkin’s smart system, using camera-based entry and exit alongside automated payments through its digital wallet.
The company expects to invest between AED 8 million and AED 10 million over the duration of the contract, including approximately AED 3 million in 2026. The project is projected to generate between AED 40 million and AED 50 million in revenue over a 10-year period, based on full delivery of the planned capacity.
