Tour n' Cure Platform to Organise Health Tourism Across Egypt

A national digital platform is set to launch to organise health tourism services, allowing international visitors to browse accredited healthcare providers and review treatment pricing through a single portal.

Tour n' Cure, outlined by Ministry of Health and Population spokesperson Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, is intended to simplify access to verified medical services and make costs visible to patients before travel.

The platform is being developed in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism as part of a wider effort to regulate services for international patients.

Healthcare providers listed on the platform will be required to meet Ministry accreditation standards, with the system focused on identifying compliant facilities across key destinations including Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor and Aswan.

Alongside the rollout, regulatory updates will introduce standardised procedures for working with international medical insurance providers and expand oversight of facilities serving foreign patients.

No mandatory pricing controls are planned. Instead, authorities are coordinating with public and private providers to set indicative pricing guidelines and require full cost disclosure, allowing patients and insurers to assess expenses in advance.
