Wafi Mall Introduces Ticketless Paid Parking Through Salik
Wafi Mall and Wafi City now use ticketless paid parking, with charges automatically deducted through linked Salik accounts.
Wafi Mall and Wafi City in Dubai have introduced ticketless paid parking managed by Parkonic, allowing parking charges to be deducted automatically through motorists’ linked Salik accounts.
Vehicles are identified by licence-plate recognition on entry, removing the need for a physical ticket. Visitors can also pay by scanning QR codes displayed at signage and payment points, while unpaid charges can be deducted from the linked Salik account when leaving.
Parking remains free on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. On weekdays, the first three hours are free, with parking from three to four hours charged at AED 15 and each additional hour or part of an hour costing AED 10.
A two-hour cooling interval after the previous parking session allows motorists to receive another three free hours on the same day. Re-entering before that interval ends does not reset the free-parking allowance.
The system is fully cashless. Drivers without a Salik account, or with insufficient Salik balance, must use another available payment method before exiting.
Parkonic has also recently taken over paid parking operations at West Yas Plaza, Yas Bay and Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi, as well as selected Choithrams outlets, Discovery Gardens and Palm Jumeirah Crescent.
