Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is Adding Two DC-Themed Rides
Kryptonite Collider opens in July 2026, with a Superman coaster set for 2028.
Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi is adding two new DC-themed attractions, with one set to open next month and another planned for 2028.
First up is Kryptonite Collider, which will debut on July 26th, 2026 inside the park's Metropolis zone. The attraction drops guests into one of Lex Luthor's experiments, beginning with a queue experience centred around the villain's fictional "Everyman Project."
From there, riders board a 32-seat vehicle that combines motion, lighting and sound effects inspired by the power of kryptonite.
Meanwhile, Superman Up and Away, scheduled to open in 2028, is being developed as a flying roller coaster designed to recreate the sensation of soaring alongside the Man of Steel as he protects Metropolis.
The additions are part of an expansion by Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi currently houses six themed lands packed with attractions inspired by DC superheroes, Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera characters.
