16 Arab Artists & Labels Join Geo-Block Boycott of Israeli Streaming
Besides Nadah El Shazly, Maryam Saleh, 3Phaz, Simsara Records, 400 artists and labels from across the globe have already joined the boycott, such as Fontaines D.C, Massive Attack, Kneecap and more.

In response to the ongoing genocide of Palestinians by the IDF, 16 Arab artists and labels have joined a new global boycott, calling for their music to be geo-restricted across streaming platforms in Israel.
Titled ‘No Music for Genocide’, the newly-launched initiative draws inspiration from the successful cultural boycotts of 1980s South Africa, urging artists, labels, and rights-holders to reject art-washing and the music industry's complicity by removing their music from streaming platforms available within Israeli territory.
So far, over 400 artists and labels have rallied behind the cause, including regional icons like Nada El Shazly, 3Phaz, Maurice Louca, Maryam Saleh, and Simsara Records. The movement has also garnered support from international stars such as Fontaines D.C., Faye Webster, Arca, John Glacier, Frank Meadows, Kneecap, Massive Attack, and MJ Lenderman, among many others.
As part of the initiative, No Music for Genocide will take over Palestine’s Radio Alhara for a 48-hour broadcast on September 29th and 30th, featuring mixes from DJs and artists who are part of the boycott movement.
Artists and labels can now join the initiative by geo-blocking Israel from their releases using their distributor or label portal, then emailing nomusicforgenocide@proton.me. You can also email Music For Genocide for more inquiries on registration.
