Egyptian duo Husa & Zeyada Drop Mystical Deep House Single ‘Aadi’
Released under Barcelona’s Kanto Records, the track’s evocative lyricism explores societal norms and the complexities of human interactions.
Husa & Zeyada, an Egyptian duo consisting of singer-songwriter Zeyada and DJ/producer Adam Husa who have become a staple in the electronic music scene with their hypnotic productions, returns with a new deep house single ‘Aadi’, released under the Barcelona-based art collective and label, Kanto Records.
‘Aadi’, true to its moniker, which translates to ‘It’s fine’, offers an evocative exploration of societal norms and human relations, delving into the complexities of what we consider normal in our daily interactions.
Echoing influences from dreamy bedroom pop, Zeyada’s soft vocals, blend smoothly with Husa’s minimalistic yet colourful production style, which is dominated by the hypnotic pulses of a four-on-the-floor beat, deep-sounding pads and funk-infused percussion that has hints of afrobeats and tribal undertones.
Remixes of ‘Aadi’ by a slew of global producers, like Oceanvs Orientalis, Mercan Dede, and Dexter Crowe, will be released in the upcoming weeks.
