El Sawareekh & Sharmoofers to Perform in Canada May 18th
The Egyptian shaabi duo and alt-pop stars will perform as part of the Egyptian Festival in Canada, Mississauga.
Egyptian shaabi duo El Sawareekh and alt-pop group Sharmoofers are set to perform live in Canada, as part of the 6th edition of the Egyptian Festival on May 18th and the 19th.
Organised by the Canadian Egyptian Heritage Association, the two-day festival is considered the largest event celebrating Egyptian culture, arts and music in North America. The festival will also feature a lineup of rising local talents like The Ayoub Sisters, Nour El Shinawy, Marwa Nagy, Mina Selim, Mahi Mahmoud and more. Besides the eclectic music, the festival will also feature around 100 Egyptian food vendors, interactive workshops and kids activities.
