Jordan’s Medaina Festival Announces Lineup for May 21st-26th

Jordan’s newly-launched Medaina Festival announces a mammoth lineup for its inaugural edition, taking place across two historical sites - the rose-red cliffs of Petra and the glittering dunes of Wadi Rum Valley - from May 21st to May 26th.

Curated by the global production company Tithorea, who have been behind Costa Rica’s ‘Labryinto’, Romanian’s ‘Tale of Lele’ and Turkiye’s ‘Echoes From Agartha’, the five-day festival serves as a cultural and musical escapade, offering a multidimensional sensory experience that blends centuries-old history and heritage with contemporary arts and music through a sustainable approach.

“After four years of dreaming and careful planning, the time has come for us to launch Medaina,” Shahin Mani, Co-founder of Mediana festival tells SceneNoise. “We’re proud that this inaugural event showcases the very best of the Jordanian cultural and artistic offerings while also being respectful of the important guidelines around these sacred and historical sites.”

The festival’s lineup brings together a roster of techno and house heavyweights from across the globe, including UK’s leading house producer and DJ Ben Sterling, the one and only Jimi Jules, Lebanon’s virtuoso Rolbac, German DJ duo Âme, Switzerland’s own Sonja Moonear, French producers and electronic live project Aline Umber, German producer and  DJ Patrice Bäumel, Miami-based collective Bedouin, and Austrian electronic act HVOB.

Pre-sale tickets are now available on Tithorea’s official website.
