Misty’s ‘Sands of Time’ is a Colourful House EP With a Balearic Spirit

Considered a veteran at this point of his musical tenure, Egyptian DJ and producer Misty continues a busy summer 2026 – one that has already seen him play parties across Egypt, perform at festivals in Lebanon and collaborate with rapper Marwan Moussa – with a new release, Sands of Time.

Out now via his own imprint, Love Attack Records, the three-track release sees Misty leaning into a groove-driven combination of gritty basslines, crisp percussion and organic textures, drawing inspiration from the early nineties house sounds that have found themselves back into modern club music. The title track, ‘Sands Of Time’, channels that very specific nostalgic energy into something more contemporary, balancing raw club sensibilities with a laid-back summer feel. Joining the release is UK producer Asa Tate, who delivers a rework of the title track, swapping its measured groove for a faster, more festival-ready interpretation while keeping much of the spirit of the original intact.

Rounding out the EP is ‘Dopamine Dance’, a fittingly named cut built around hypnotic rhythms, acidic flourishes and driving momentum, offering a more high-energy counterpart to the title track.

With Sands Of Time, Misty not only continues to develop his musical identity, but that of Love Attack Records, which continues to fulfill it’s claim of ‘putting out fun house music’. It seems like they have the recipe right - in an age where much of electronic music is accused of maybe taking itself a little too seriously, Love Attack dares to go againts the grain, releasing music that can be enjoyed without feeling like a genre exercise.
