Wegz Releases Unapologetic EP 'Gadwal El Darb'

Just days after releasing ‘TNKR,’ Wegz returns with Gadwal El Darb, a seven-track surprise EP, his first since 2019’s Geziret El Batal. Blending rage-rap with drill, the project sees him at his rawest.

Fueled by heavy 808s, spacious melodies, and razor-sharp flows, Gadwal El Darb is unapologetic in its delivery. Wegz channels themes of rebellion, self-love, and resilience, staying true to his street-rooted lyricism.

The drop comes with a video for ‘TNKR,’ a playful yet chaotic chase sequence that fuses traditional and contemporary fashion, nodding to Wegz’s Saeedi heritage. The EP’s artwork, crafted by underground artists WeirDo and Salamony, dives into retro-futuristic and cyberpunk aesthetics.
