XPConversations - Nicole Moudaber: The EDM Icon Behind The MOOD Empire

Lebanese DJ, producer, and techno legend Nicole Moudaber has become a heavyweight in the global electronic music scene through her incessant work as a promoter, event organizer, and world class artist in her own right. Her brand MOOD has grown to encompass multiple ventures within the realm of EDM, from her influential work with her label MOODRecords, to her events brand which curates both festival stages and pool parties alike through MoodZONE and MoodDAY respectively.

At 2023’s edition of XP Music Futures, we caught up with Moudaber, who shed light on the inner workings of her multifaceted organization. We learned how she has made her mark on the international electronic music industry through her spectacular events, her weekly radio show In The MOOD (which is syndicated across over 90 radio stations worldwide), and through her continuous passion for electronic music.
