Awaken 2.0 Reborn Brings a One-Day Wellness Escape to The Med
Awaken 2.0 returns to The Med on August 7th, bringing Wim Hof, Akiniko, and more for a day of breathwork, movement, yoga, and sound healing by the Mediterranean.
Awaken 2.0: Reborn is making what might be the North Coast's biggest wellness move of the summer, bringing some of the most known names in global wellbeing to The Med by People & Places on August 7th. As Sahel's appetite (and need) for wellness continues to grow, the one-day experience is tapping into a different kind of summer high.
Leading the lineup is wellness phenomenon Wim Hof, better known as the Ice Man, he's the man who convinced millions of people to voluntarily sit in freezing water, breathe differently and discover they're capable of far more than they thought. Equal parts endurance athlete, philosopher and human science experiment, Hof is bringing his world-famous Wim Hof Method to Egypt for the first time.
Joining him is fitness entrepreneur Akiniko, whose high-energy workouts have attracted a devoted international community, alongside Sanctum, the immersive movement practice that's become a global cult favourite, blending sound, meditation and functional movement into a headphone-led ritual.
The programme also features yoga by Aligned founders Farah Nofal and Asma El Hosseiny, and a sound healing journey with international practitioner Tereza.
Presented by People & Places and brought by ievents in collaboration with Soulful Festival, Awaken 2.0 transforms The Med into a one-day wellness escape on August 7th, complete with massages, IV therapy, seasonal fare by Sage and a sunset soundtrack by DJ Saify.
