Arab Club Champions Cup Returns for 2026/27 Season

The Arab Club Champions Cup is making its return for the 2026/27 season after a four-season hiatus, with the Arab Football Union approving the tournament as part of its competition calendar.

Bringing together leading football clubs from across the Arab world, the competition is one of the region’s major inter-club tournaments, with clubs competing for the Arab club championship title. The next edition is scheduled to run from July 21st to August 8th, 2027.

The competition was last held in 2023 under the name Arab Club Champions Cup, with 16 clubs taking part in the finals in Saudi Arabia. Al Nassr lifted the title after defeating Al Hilal 2-1 in the final, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the winning goal in extra time. Egypt is currently in discussions with the Arab Football Union over the possibility of hosting the 2027 edition, but no final decision has been announced.
