Kuwait to Host Saudi 2026/2027 Super Cup on December 19th to the 23rd
The Saudi Super Cup is taking its next edition to Kuwait, adding another Gulf stop to its growing international footprint.
The Saudi Super Cup is heading to Kuwait for its 2026/2027 edition, as Saudi football continues to expand its competitions beyond the kingdom.
The 13th edition of the tournament will take place from December 19th to the 23rd at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait, bringing together four Saudi clubs: Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Qadsiah and Al Kholood.
The semifinals will be played on December 19th and 20th, followed by the final on December 23rd. The semifinal draw is scheduled for October 14th.
The move marks another step in the Saudi Super Cup’s international hosting strategy. The competition has previously been staged outside Saudi Arabia in destinations including London, Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong, with Kuwait becoming its latest international host.
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation said the decision aims to strengthen the competition’s regional reach, attract a wider audience and create new commercial opportunities around the tournament.
The hosting agreement was signed between SMC Vibes, the Saudi federation’s exclusive commercial partner, and Al Rai Media Group, with the event set to include additional activities around the matches.
