Hossam Hassan Is Banned From Egyptian TV Appearances

Egypt’s Supreme Council for Media Regulation has banned national team head coach Hossam Hassan from appearing in the media or on television, following recent reports of disputes between him and his ex-wife.

In a statement issued on November 4th, the council ordered all media outlets, news platforms and social media accounts subject to Egypt’s Press and Media Regulation featuring Hassan indefinitely.

The council has not specified how long the ban will remain in effect. The decision comes amid growing media coverage of the reported dispute.
