Film AlUla Launches Platform to Empower Female Storytellers
The platform’s ‘AlUla Creates’ aims to incorporate rising female talents into a global network of artists and resources.
Film AlUla announced the launch of a platform focused on empowering a new generation of female storytellers and producers. The platform includes a new initiative, AlUla Creates, which aims to incorporate rising female talents into a global network of artists while providing them with the resources to bring their stories to life in the ancient city of AlUla.
Film AlUla’s first phase includes a partnership with the British Fashion Council, Alex Maxwell the founder of Kloss Films, Saudi actor Mila Al-Zahrani, and fashion models Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigova will support the platform as ambassadors. The program is part of AlUla’s long-term vision to invest in rising artists across the region and in Saudi, and a new economic and production model positioning AlUla as a regional creative hub.
