UAE's Masfout Named World's Best Tourism Village for 2025
Recognised by UN Tourism, Masfout is known for its rugged scenery, cool climate and fertile farmland.

The mountainous village of Masfout in the UAE emirate of Ajman has been named the “Best Tourism Village in the World 2025” by UN Tourism (formerly the UN World Tourism Organization), selected from a pool of 270 villages across 65 countries.
Nestled approximately 120 km from Ajman city and set against the Hajar Mountains, Masfout is known for its rugged scenery, cool climate and fertile farmland. The village met the award criteria with a low-density population of under 15,000, grounded in agriculture and traditional practices.
The win places Masfout on the global rural-tourism map and highlights the UAE’s lesser-known destinations.
