Wizz Air Launches Direct London-Madinah Flights This August
The new route will operate daily, adding nearly 174,000 seats annually.

Wizz Air is set to launch direct flights between London Gatwick and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, beginning August 2nd.
The new service, operated in collaboration with the Air Connectivity Program (ACP), Madinah Region Development Authority, and Taiba Airports Operation Company, will run daily using A321 XLR aircraft with a 239-seat capacity.
The route is expected to add 173,992 low-cost seats annually in both directions, contributing to increased accessibility between the UK and Saudi Arabia. The initiative aligns with broader efforts to strengthen Madinah’s air connectivity network, enhance the travel experience for passengers, and expand the airport’s European destination network.
