You Will Be Able to Use Riyadh's Metro System By 2024

The Riyadh metro project will be completed before the end of 2023, or in the beginning of 2024 at the latest, according to Mayor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Bin Ayyaf.
The USD 22.5 billion metro system is considered to be the largest infrastructure project in the world, in which electric trains will be able to operate without drivers.
Made up of six metro lines and 84 stations over 176 kilometres, this transit system is designed to help solve the city’s traffic issues, especially given that 90% of the trips within the Saudi capital rely on cars.
