Riyadh Metro Releases New Schedule for Eid El Adha

Riyadh Metro has announced adjusted operating hours for Eid Al-Adha 2025, effective from Thursday, June 5th through Thursday, June 12th. The changes aim to accommodate increased movement across the city during the holiday period.

The Orange Line will run daily from 10 AM to midnight until June 14th, resuming its regular timetable on Sunday, June 15th. Other metro lines will operate on a staggered schedule: beginning at 8 AM on June 5th, shifting to 10 AM from June 6th to the 8th, then returning to 8 AM from June 9th to the 11th. Regular operating hours resume on June 12th with service starting at 6 AM.

Riyadh’s bus network will run daily from 5 AM to midnight throughout the same period, with on-demand services available to meet increased travel needs.

Ticket options include SAR 4 for a two-hour ride, SAR 20 for a three-day pass, SAR 40 for seven days, and SAR 140 for a 30-day pass. Children under six ride free. Tickets can be purchased through the Darb App, Riyadh Bus App, or via credit and Mada cards at metro stations.

The Riyadh Metro system, known for its six colour-coded lines, connects major districts across the capital, including King Khalid International Airport, King Fahd Sports City, the National Museum, and King Saud University.
