Egyptian Handicrafts Showcased in Turathna Exhibition
Turathna Exhibition will display over one thousand exhibitors from all governorates of Egypt, displaying locally-made products like carpets, handmade kilims, textiles, and furnishings.
The third edition of the Turathna Exhibition for Handicrafts and Heritage Arts is kicking off on October 9th at New Cairo’s International Exhibition Center.
Organised by the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), this year’s edition will include over one thousand exhibitors from all governorates of Egypt, displaying locally-made products like carpets, handmade kilims, textiles, furnishings, accessories, copper and glass products. You will also be able to get your hand on traditionally crafted embroidery on cloth, tents, lighting units, ceramics, furnishings, leather, wooden antiques, and wicker products.
The annual showcase is sponsored by the presidential office to support those working in traditional arts, particularly youth and women. The Turathna Exhibition will run until October 15th.
