A new public library is currently being built in Aswan. Worth EGP 68 million in investments, the Misr Public Library is set to be the city’s cultural, artistic and tourist hub, with a design that embraces Aswan’s aesthetic heritage and is constructed out of native materials.
With construction reportedly 95% complete across a 3,200 square metre area, the library will encompass a theatre, cinema and archival hall, promising a diverse cultural experience for visitors.
