Loss & Damage Climate Conference to Take Place in Luxor Ahead of COP28
The conference will focus on implementing COP27’s resolutions, with a focus on protecting vulnerable countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Luxor will host a climate conference that will help implement the resolutions that were passed during the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference in Sharm El Sheikh last November, including the loss and damage resolution to establish funding for developing nations that are vulnerable to climate change.
The loss and damage climate conference is part of the leadup to COP28, which will take place in the UAE this November.
