Pyramids Entrance Will Undergo Developments for Two Months
With tourist numbers on the rise, Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has revealed plans to redevelop the entrance to the pyramids complex.

Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, explained that the existing public entrance - on the ‘Fayoum side’ - is currently too narrow to efficiently accommodate tourist footfall.
The restructuring of the entrance facilities are amongst a slew of other new services and developments previously documented including a state-of-the-art Visitor’s Centre, electric bus routes and a tourist walkway linking the Giza Plateau to the Grand Egyptian Museum.
