EgyptAir Launches Direct Cairo–Zanzibar Flights
The new route will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Sundays using Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft.
EgyptAir has launched direct flights between Cairo and Zanzibar, with the inaugural service recording a load factor of more than 90%. The airline will operate two weekly flights between Cairo International Airport and Zanzibar on Fridays and Sundays using Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft.
The route adds a direct connection between the Egyptian capital and the Tanzanian archipelago, while expanding EgyptAir’s network across Africa. EgyptAir Holding Company Chairman Ahmed Adel said the airline is continuing to add African destinations considered strategically important to its network.
Tickets for the Cairo–Zanzibar route are available through EgyptAir’s website, sales offices and travel agents.
