Hailing from Cairo, Alvin is an aspiring young rapper who is trying simply being himself. In a very short period of time, he’s managed to set himself apart with a fresh yet accessible sound that it is distinctly his own.
Despite the overwhelming nature of the local rap scene, with various artists expanding into non-musical disciplines to maximize their reach and relevancy, Alvin refuses to compromise. He observes this trend from afar, choosing to focus on crafting a path that's true to him. His music is introspective and nostalgic, drawing inspirations from his personal experiences and emotional state to deliver hard-hitting raw bars with the effortlessness and flair of a veteran. Although he sometimes experiments with different musical elements in the production, his songs remain rooted in the good-old days of Egypt’s prime trap era - a sound that has all but faded today. He moves in his own lane unbothered, armed by his devotion to making music for himself without interest to living up to people’s expectations.
