Ahmed Malek & Huda El Mufti to Star in 'Mataam Al Habayeb' Series

Egyptian actors Ahmed Malek and Huda El Mufti reunite on-screen in the new television series ‘Mata’am EL Habayeb’. The duo previously collaborated on the limited Shahid series ‘Bimbo’ (2021). This project marks Malek’s return to Egyptian screens after a two-year hiatus.
Directed by Essam Abdelhamid and written by Mariam Naoum, the series will also feature Bayoumi Fouad, Eslam Ibrahim and Samy Maghawri and is set within a bustling kitchen. Malek is recognised for his role in ‘La Totfea Al Shams’ (2017) and has since appeared in regional and international films, notably ‘The Swimmers’ (2022) and ‘The Furnace’ (2020). Huda El Mufti is also known for her roles in ‘Bimbo’ (2021) and ‘Ka’eno Embareh’ (2019).
