Ahmed Mekky Returns to the Silver Screen After 10-Year Hiatus

Egyptian star Ahmed Mekky is finally returning to the silver screen after a 10-year hiatus with a film produced by acclaimed Egyptian actress, TV presenter and producer Esaad Younis.

Mekky’s last movie appearance was in ‘Samir Abu El Nile’ (2013) while his cinematography includes beloved films such as ‘H Dabbour’ (2008), ‘Teer Enta’ (2009), and ‘La Taragoa Wala Esteslam’ (2010). The actor will continue to be a part of the Ramadan series marathon with the eighth season of his hit sitcom ‘Al Kebeer Awi’, with Egyptian star Amina Khalil joining the cast.

Details regarding the release date and cast of the new film have yet to be announced.
