Mohamed Ramadan Collaborates With Layla Ghaleb on New Music Video

Egyptian singer and actor Mohamed Ramadan has teamed up with director Layla Ghaleb for his latest music video, ‘Joanna Borg ElThor’. The video is a remix of Afro B’s hit song ‘Joanna’, and features a fusion of Middle Eastern and African cultures, showcasing vibrant visuals and dynamic choreography.

“Directing Mohamed Ramadan is a dream come true,” Laila Ghaleb tells CairoScene. “This project is not just about creating a music video, it’s about uniting cultures, celebrating diversity, and showcasing the power of creative collaboration on a global stage.”

At just 28, Layla Ghaleb Layla Ghaleb is the youngest female Egyptian director to produce a major music video. Having also taken the mantle of choreographer and dancer, Ghaleb is the founder of Goodspace, a Cairo-based dance company, and has gained recognition for blending modern and traditional elements in her work.
