The official trailer for Egyptian film ‘Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo’, directed by Khaled Mansour, has just been released ahead of its cinematic release in Egypt on January 1st and across the rest of the Arab world on January 9th. ‘Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo’ marks Mansour’s debut feature film after a career in creating short films.
Starring Essam Omar, Rakin Saad, Sama Ibrahim and Ahmed Bahaa, the co-founder of the acclaimed Egyptian band Sharmoofers, the story follows a young man confronting his past fears as he embarks on a mission to save his dog from an uncertain fate.
Produced by Mohamed Hefzy through Film Clinic, the film also marks the feature production debut of Rasha Hosny, a seasoned film critic and programmer with experience at leading international film festivals. ‘Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo’ is distributed globally by Film Clinic Indie Distribution, with Misr International Films handling distribution in Egypt and Front Row Filmed Entertainment managing releases in the GCC.
