Photopia Hosts World Press Photo Exhibition in Cairo & Alexandria
The World Press Photo Exhibition will feature a variety of award-winning work in Cairo and Alexandria.
Photopia, a Cairo-based photography school and a hub for photographers across Egypt, is hosting the World Press Photo Exhibition as part of their annual showcase, Cairo Photo Week, in February 2023.
The World Press Photo Exhibition will feature a variety of award-winning work including that of Egyptian photographer Rehab El Dalil, Palestine’s Fatime M. Shbair, and Sudan's Fayez Abou Bakr.
The exhibition will be held in Downtown Cairo’s historic and recently renovated Radio Cinema Theatre and the Jesuit Cultural Centre in Alexandria. Photopia will also host an educational workshop in light of the exhibition, along with their regular Cairo Photo Week programme.
