The Cast of ‘Ex Meraty’ on Exes, On-Screen Chemistry & 'Bad Food'

A romcom about exes? Sign us up. Releasing in cinemas across Egypt tomorrow, we caught up with the cast of ‘Ex Meraty’ before its theatrical release and, to put it plainly, might have just stirred the pot a little bit. ‘Spilling the tea’ on their actual exes, settling off-screen debates, and - unfairly - hating on Egyptian Taro, the cast had quite a lot to say to us.

Starring Hesham Maged, Amina Khalil, and Mohamed Mamdouh, and directed by Moataz El Tony, ‘Ex Meraty’ is the first ever on-screen collaboration for the cast. One thing’s for sure - there was no shortage of chemistry.
