Alteryx & Google Cloud to Expand AI Analytics in the Middle East
Alteryx’s deeper Google Cloud collaboration adds Live Query for BigQuery and Alteryx One: Google Edition, aligning with a region projected to reach $320 billion in AI by 2030.
Alteryx, a data and analytics company, has expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud to put governed, AI‑ready analytics directly inside BigQuery for enterprise teams in the Middle East. The move lands as the region’s AI economy is projected to reach $320 billion by 2030.
At the centre of the rollout is the general availability of Live Query for BigQuery, which lets business and IT users build and run analytics workflows directly in BigQuery without moving data. Business users get a no‑code interface to transform large datasets, apply business rules, and perform calculations in place—removing the need for SQL, downloads, or spreadsheets. For IT and data teams, keeping workflows inside BigQuery aims to strengthen governance, simplify architecture, reduce unmanaged data pipelines, and improve auditability while preserving centralised security and performance. Teams can prepare data, automate workflows, and maintain consistent metrics and rules at enterprise scale, while business users iterate as needs evolve.
The expanded collaboration also introduces Alteryx One: Google Edition, a version of Alteryx One available via the Google Cloud Marketplace. It integrates with Google Cloud services including BigQuery, Google Sheets, and Google Drive to help business professionals prepare, analyse, and automate data workflows. By embedding governed analytics logic in BigQuery and automating the data‑to‑insight‑to‑action process, the companies say the approach provides a secure, scalable foundation for AI‑driven decision‑making and aims to help organisations respond quickly while maintaining accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
