China's JD Logistics Launches JoyExpress Courier Service in KSA
China’s JD.com enters the Saudi market with JoyExpress, a self-operated courier service covering main provinces with rapid delivery and full logistics infrastructure.

JD Logistics, the logistics arm of China’s e-commerce giant JD.com, has launched JoyExpress—a self-operated business-to-consumer courier service—in Saudi Arabia. This marks the company’s first overseas consumer-focused delivery network, offering same-day and next-day delivery across most of the Kingdom’s 13 provinces.
JoyExpress is backed by a logistical network under development that includes warehouses, transfer and sorting centres, and delivery stations staffed by in-house couriers, drivers, warehouse operators, and customer service teams.
Known for its self-built logistics infrastructure in China—with over 3,600 warehouses, 19,000 delivery stations and nearly 510,000 frontline staff—JD Logistics looks to replicate its model in the region.
