Data-Streaming Firm Confluent Launches Private Cloud in MENA

Confluent — the Mountain View, California–based data-streaming company founded by the original creators of Apache Kafka — has launched its Private-Cloud offering in the Middle East, giving organisations the ability to run real-time data streaming on their own private infrastructure.

Designed for sectors that cannot place sensitive workloads on public cloud platforms, Confluent Private Cloud brings cloud-native automation, governance and scalability to on-premises environments. Finance, healthcare, telecoms and government are among the industries expected to adopt the service.

By simplifying traditionally complex self-managed Kafka deployments, the platform offers managed operations, stronger security controls and the ability to process real-time event data — such as transactions, sensor output and customer interactions — entirely behind the firewall.

As part of the regional rollout, Confluent has expanded its Tableflow integrations to support Delta Lake, Databricks Unity Catalog and early access to Microsoft OneLake, enabling seamless movement of real-time data into analytics and AI systems.

The company says the launch responds to rising demand across the Middle East for architectures that support both regulatory compliance and next-generation digital transformation. Confluent positions the solution as a way for enterprises to unify real-time operations with secure, governable data infrastructure.
