Dubai-Based AI Platform Hyra Network Wins Tech Startup of the Year
Vietnamese-led Hyra Network has won 2025 Tech Startup of the Year at the Globee Awards for pioneering decentralised AI infrastructure powered by idle devices across 205 countries.

Vietnamese tech company Hyra Network has been named Technology Startup of the Year at the 2025 Globee Awards for Technology, in recognition of its work creating a decentralised AI infrastructure powered by globally shared computational resources. The award, judged by over 100 tech leaders and investors, spotlights Hyra’s efforts to democratise AI by turning smartphones, computers, and IoT devices into active contributors to machine learning.
Developed by Hyra Tek JCS in Vietnam and operated regionally by Hyra Tek Smart Solution L.L.C in the UAE, the company’s flagship platform Hyra AI is among the first "Train-to-Earn" systems, enabling users to earn rewards by lending their devices' processing power. In doing so, the platform creates a decentralised network capable of training and running AI models outside of traditional data centres.
The company’s blockchain-based infrastructure currently spans over 2.5 million devices across 205 countries, with 700,000 active nodes and more than 1 million KYC-verified users. Hyra reports it is already delivering 360,000 teraflops of distributed computing power and serving over ten paying enterprise clients.
“This honour transcends our company—it validates the entire movement toward democratised AI infrastructure,” said Jonh Tran, Founder of Hyra Network. “We’re witnessing global acknowledgment that the future of AI belongs not to centralised monopolies, but to communities that collectively own and benefit from these powerful technologies.”
The platform's growth aligns with rising global interest in Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) and distributed AI systems, particularly across emerging markets in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa. As Hyra scales its reach, it aims to challenge traditional tech infrastructure models and lay the groundwork for an AI future that is more equitable, efficient, and accessible.
