Sheraa Launches Entrepreneurs Resilience Fund to Support UAE Startups
The Entrepreneurs Resilience Fund offers equity-free grants and support to Sharjah-based businesses.
The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center has launched a new support initiative aimed at helping startups and small businesses maintain operations amid ongoing economic challenges.
The Entrepreneurs Resilience Fund will provide equity-free, non-repayable grants alongside operational and marketing support for Sharjah-based startups and SMEs. Backed by government and private sector partners, the fund aims to mobilise up to Dhs 5 million.
The programme focuses on sectors linked to economic stability, including manufacturing, food security and healthcare, with an expedited application and evaluation process designed to deliver support quickly.
Officials said the initiative is structured to help established businesses sustain operations and navigate financial pressures, while strengthening their long-term resilience and competitiveness.
The fund operates through a collaborative model involving multiple partners across the public and private sectors, including Beeah Group, Careem and RAKBANK, among others.
The initiative aligns with broader national efforts to support entrepreneurship and strengthen the SME sector as a driver of economic growth and diversification.
Applications are currently open, with eligible businesses able to apply through Sheraa’s official platform.
