UAE’s AI-Powered Virtual Freight Operater Fero Raises $1.1 Million
With the newly acquired funds, Fero is now looking to expand its team and grow presence in the European market.
UAE-based Fero, the cloud-based robotic process automation and enterprise resource planning startup that created TiA, the World’s 1st Intelligent Virtual Assistant for Supply Chain, has announced a successful fundraising round closing in at $1.1 million from multiple, undisclosed investors.
TiA is essentially the Alexa of the logistics world. She listens, understands, talks, and messages, helping free logistics professionals from tedious tasks. The technology is already being used by marquee clients such as DSV, Gulftainer and Emirates Logistics with customers in the GCC, India, and the UK.
Founded in 2018 by Abhinav Chaudhary, Arjun Bhasin and Naseer Ahmed, Fero caught the eye of Microsoft, who promptly accepted the startup into its 2020 Microsoft for Startups Accelerator Programme for high-tech startups.
With the added support of the new investment, Fero will add tech engineers to its team to continue growing its product capabilities with hopes to expand its presence in the European market and step into integrations with freight enterprise resource planning.
