11,000 UAE Flags Create Portraits at Jumeirah Beach

The 12th edition of the Flag Garden opened at Jumeirah Beach in Dubai’s Umm Suqeim 2, featuring 11,000 UAE flags arranged into large-scale portraits of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, marking the start of National Month celebrations. The installation reflects this year’s Zayed and Rashid campaign theme. The display spans 60 metres high and 90 metres wide, and is open to visitors daily from November 3, 2025, to January 10, 2026. It forms part of citywide programming running from UAE Flag Day through to the 54th Eid Al Etihad. The installation is described as symbolising the connection between the UAE’s leadership and its people. Organisers highlight the Flag Garden as a recurring attraction that draws citizens, residents, and tourists to Jumeirah Beach during National Month. Children and families are pictured engaging with the installation on-site. Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, said the Flag Garden blends art, creativity, and national symbolism to celebrate unity and belonging.
