14 New Food Markets to Open Ahead of Ramadan
The Ministry of Agriculture will set up food markets to ensure affordable access to essential goods.

The Ministry of Agriculture has announced plans to set up food markets in 14 governorates ahead of Ramadan to ensure affordable access to essential goods.
According to Major General Amgad Saada, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture, the ministry operates around 400 fixed outlets nationwide year-round. In preparation for Ramadan, large quantities of goods have been supplied to 79 of these outlets. Additionally, 200 outlets are managed by the Agricultural Reform sector, 65 by the Production Sector, and 65 by Protected Agriculture, along with 79 under the Federation of Councils.
New outlets have also opened to increase accessibility, including one in Bab El Shaaria and another in Madinet Nasr’s 10th District.
In addition, a large exhibition will open this week at the Agricultural Club in Dokki and the Agricultural Research Center. Spanning 600 square metres, the exhibition will feature a wide range of products and essential goods to serve the community during Ramadan.
