43 New Plots of Land to Be Allocated for Industrial Use in Egypt
The proposed sites are spread over 16 governorates, including 12 locations in the desert hinterlands.
Egypt’s National Centre for Planning State Land Use and the Federation of State Industries are planning to allocate an additional 43 plots for industrial use. The proposed sites, which include industrial complexes and technical workshops, are spread over 16 governorates, including 12 locations in the desert hinterlands.
The project aims to expand the country’s industrial centre as well as to attract investments in the field.
The Egyptian government has embarked on numerous initiatives to establish new industrial cities to support national industry and increase job opportunities in areas such as food, construction, health and transportation.
