Abu Dhabi Chamber Launches Initiative to Boost Global Business Ties
The ‘Gateway to the World’ initiative looks to expand its network and boost the emirate's competitive business environment.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has unveiled ‘Gateway to the World’, an initiative designed to significantly expand its global network and foster a more competitive business environment within the emirate. This program aims to create a wealth of opportunities for local businesses by establishing direct communication channels with chambers of commerce and business support offices worldwide.
With the goal of securing 100 partnerships by the end of 2024, Gateway to the World will connect Abu Dhabi businesses to a network of over 3 million international companies. The initiative has a wide geographical scope, encompassing Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America, along with the Middle East and GCC countries.
A key component of Gateway to the World is the Abu Dhabi Business Connect platform. This platform will be bolstered by the influx of new member companies, granting Abu Dhabi businesses access to a richer network of potential partners and investors.
The initiative will also serve to promote the Chamber's digital platform on Tawasal SuperApp, streamlining communication and facilitating virtual business meetings for local and international collaboration. This will allow startups and SMEs in Abu Dhabi to effectively showcase their projects to a global audience of investors and entrepreneurs.
