Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024 Begins April 29th
The Republic of Turkiye will be at hand as the guest of honour to help present the rich world of Arab travel literature.
Since 1981, the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair - originally known as 'The Islamic Book Fair' has been a pillar of education and culture in the Emirate. This year, the fair returns larger than ever, serving as a meeting point for Arab publishing houses from around the world, and presenting readers of all ages with a wide range of programmes, talks and exhibits.
From April 29th to May 5th, this year's edition of the book fair will feature a variety of workshops across different artforms, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the worlds of comic books, black box cinema films, genres of all kinds, the culinary arts and more. For those looking to sit down and listen, the fair will also have a series of cultural and literary sessions, with the Republic of Turkiye at hand as the guest of honour to help present the rich world of Arab travel literature through the fair's focus personality, Ibn Khaldun.
The fair's talks will also include programmes designed especially for authors and storytellers to help boost their position in the publishing industry. On top of that, the all-new 'Podcast Abu Dhabi' platform will debut during the course of the fair.
