Abu Dhabi Mobility Unveils New AI Engine to Help in Public Policy

Abu Dhabi Mobility has unveiled its new AI engine, which uses data analytics to track traffic congestion and accidents, to detect apartment capacity, and to improve the quality of life of Abu Dhabi residents in general. The new AI technology aims to help city planners and policy makers to make more informed decisions.

The platform will use data mining and machine learning techniques to create visual illustrations to identify traffic movement, and provide insight into traffic patterns. When monitoring accidents, the AI will be able to weigh the impact of the accident to provide appropriate responsive measures. It will also be able to track residential land use; by tracking water and electricity consumption, the AI will be able to monitor an apartment’s capacity.
