Abu Dhabi Police earned a total of 97 medals at the 2025 World Police and Firefighter Games held in Birmingham, Alabama. The team stood out with 48 gold, 31 silver, and 18 bronze medals across 12 sports. The police athletes competed in disciplines including cycling, jiu-jitsu, swimming, and track & field, delivering podium finishes in each.
With over 8,500 athletes from more than 50 countries in attendance, the World Police and Firefighter Games are amongst the largest international events of their kind. Abu Dhabi Police’s participation aligns with the UAE’s broader strategy of investing in physical fitness and mental resilience among its security forces.
