Air Taxis Are Taking Off Across Egypt
Fares for flights within Cairo start at USD 200 per person for a trip to the Pyramids of Giza, while flights to the Citadel are priced at USD 300.

Abu Dhabi Aviation has launched an air taxi service in Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian Air Force to facilitate travel between major cities and key areas in Cairo, with indicative travel times of 60 minutes from Cairo to the North Coast and 90 minutes from Cairo to Siwa. Fares for flights within Cairo start at USD 200 per person for a trip to the Pyramids of Giza, while flights to the Citadel are priced at USD 300. Passengers travelling from Almaza Airport to Sheikh Zayed will pay USD 350, and those heading to the New Administrative Capital will pay USD 300. Intercity flights will also be available, including routes such as Cairo to Siwa Oasis and Hurghada to Luxor at USD 1,500 per person, and Sharm El-Sheikh to Saint Catherine at USD 900. Each flight will use modified helicopters designed to accommodate short and medium-range passenger travel with improved comfort and safety standards. The service is currently in its initial rollout phase, with further destinations and routes set to follow as infrastructure expands.
